About Us

Primary Immunodeficiency Patients Society of Bangladesh (PIDPSB)

PIDPSB is a patient- and family-led, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals affected by Primary Immunodeficiency Disorders (PID), also known as Inborn Errors of Immunity (IEI).

PID comprises a group of inherited conditions where an improperly functioning immune system leaves patients highly vulnerable to recurrent infections and severe health complications. In Bangladesh, low public and medical awareness often leads to delayed diagnoses, posing a critical challenge to patient survival and well-being.

Since 2018, PIDPSB has served as the definitive collective voice for the PID/IEI community in Bangladesh. Through targeted awareness campaigns, strategic advocacy, community building, and close collaboration with healthcare professionals, we work tirelessly to ensure early diagnosis, reliable access to essential care, and a dignified quality of life for every patient.
